I’ve spend most of my photographic career photographing people but all that changed when a new client asked my to photograph their temporary buildings for their website. I was very honest with them and let them know that I hadn’t done much architectural photography but I was positive they would be very happy with the results. I spent 2 days researching the techniques and requirements of photographing buildings for a commercial project and then i was ready to go.
To my surprise I really enjoyed visiting the various sites all over the country and detailing their fantastic temporary building products and to be honest it’s made me question my area of focus when it comes to what area of photography I would like to do going forward.
I now plan to visit as many cities in the U.K capturing all the beautiful buildings we have.
